It all started when…

Hawkins Homestead Farm is a small family owned and operated urban farm located in Kinsey, Alabama. When Brandon and Rachel Hawkins moved to this area in 2015, they were surprised at how many farms there were, but very few that were organic and chemical free. Having been big supporters of fresh local organic produce they decided to grow their own. So through much research, prayer, and many conversations, Hawkins Homestead Farm was born. Brandon and Rachel are proud members and certified by The National Poultry Improvement Plan (NPIP). They are truly committed to the care, health, and safety of their animals and the food they grow. They never use antibiotics or pesticides on anything they have. All produce is grown from Non-GMO organic seed and a few Non-GMO organic started plants. They take pride in everything they do and are happy to say that “what started as food for our family has blossomed into food for yours.”
